Do I have to go to court to get divorced in Florida?

No. Many families resolve divorce, parenting, and other disputes through mediation or collaborative divorce without a judge deciding the outcome.

What’s the difference between mediation and collaborative divorce?

Mediation is direct negotiation with a neutral mediator. Collaborative divorce involves each spouse’s attorney plus neutral professionals (including a mental health facilitator) working as a team under a no-court agreement.

Are your services confidential?

Yes. Mediation and collaborative divorce conversations are confidential. Agreements become binding once signed and approved by the court (with standard legal exceptions such as mandatory reporting of child abuse or threats of harm).

Do you work with high-conflict or military families?

Yes. High-conflict families, military, and first responders are a core focus. Jessica Oliver brings nearly a decade of experience in trauma-informed care from psychiatric units, veterans hospitals, domestic violence shelters, and more.
