About 21,064 people live in Minneola, based on the Census Bureau's July 2025 estimate. The 2020 Census counted 13,843.
Jessica Oliver, LCSW (SW18101), has more than ten years of social work experience and has been a Florida LCSW since 2021. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator (44460 CF) and a Qualified Parenting Coordinator. She has a BSW from Saint Leo University and an MSW from the University of Southern California, and she is an adjunct professor in Cleveland State University's MSW program. Why Minneola parents often start with mediation
In mediation, the two of you make the decisions instead of arguing them out in open court. The process tends to stay more private. It also leaves room for a schedule that fits school calendars, work shifts and weekend plans, rather than handing every detail to someone else.
Services for Lake County families

How a session works
You start with a free 30-minute consult. After that, Jessica sends a secure link and goes over confidentiality and the session format. She can work with everyone together or with each person separately in private breakout rooms. Agreements are summarized in writing and signed electronically once everyone is comfortable.
Fees
Jessica charges $200 per hour, billed in tenth-of-an-hour (6-minute) increments. The price is the same on Zoom, and the retainer is set case by case.

No. Sessions for Lake County are held by Zoom only.
My co-parent lives in another county. Does that matter?
Not if you meet on Zoom. You each join from wherever you are.
Is Zoom secure enough for something this personal?
Meetings are password protected, and Jessica asks each person to join from somewhere private. She reviews the privacy steps with you before you begin.
Will Jessica write our final paperwork?
Jessica records the terms you agree on in a written agreement. She does not give legal advice, so many people ask their own attorney to look it over.
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. It is a free 30-minute consult, and you can book it online at a time that works for you. It is a chance to ask questions and see whether mediation fits your family before you commit to anything.
