Davenport is a city in Polk County. The 2020 Census counted 9,043 people there, and the Census Bureau estimates 18,110 as of July 2025.
Jessica Oliver, LCSW (SW18101), has more than ten years of social work experience and has been a Florida LCSW since 2021. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator (44460 CF) and a Qualified Parenting Coordinator. She has a BSW from Saint Leo University and an MSW from the University of Southern California, and she is an adjunct professor in Cleveland State University's MSW program. She never serves the same family as both mediator and parenting coordinator.
Jessica works with Polk County families by Zoom only. You and your co-parent each join from your own location, with no drive to an office. She stays neutral and does not give legal advice to either of you.
Why mediation comes first for many Davenport families
Some parents would rather not argue their family matters in open court. Mediation is usually more private, and it lets you shape a schedule around school calendars, work shifts and weekend plans instead of handing every decision to someone else.

How a session works
You start with a free 30-minute consult. After that, Jessica sends a secure link and goes over confidentiality and the session format. She can work with everyone together or with each person separately in private breakout rooms. Agreements are summarized in writing and signed electronically once everyone is comfortable.
Fees
Jessica charges $200 per hour, billed in tenth-of-an-hour (6-minute) increments. The price is the same on Zoom, and the retainer is set case by case.
