Jessica Oliver, LCSW (SW18101), is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator (44460 CF) and a Qualified Parenting Coordinator. She has more than ten years of social work experience and has been a Florida LCSW since 2021. She earned her BSW at Saint Leo University and her MSW at the University of Southern California, and is an adjunct professor in Cleveland State University's MSW program. She never serves the same family as both mediator and parenting coordinator.

Families in Clermont work with Jessica by Zoom only, as do all Lake County clients. Each parent joins from their own location, so no one drives to an office. Jessica stays neutral and does not give legal advice to either side.

Why some Clermont families try mediation first

Mediation lets you settle family matters without arguing them in open court. It is usually more private, and parents can build a schedule around real life, like school calendars, work shifts and weekend plans, instead of leaving every detail to someone else.

Services for Lake County families

  • Family mediation: parenting plans, time-sharing, child support, alimony, and dividing property or debts

  • Parenting coordination: support for parents who are following a plan that is already in place

  • Collaborative divorce: Jessica serves as the neutral facilitator, the mental health professional on the team

How a session works

Everything begins with a free 30-minute consult. Jessica then sends a secure link and walks through confidentiality and how the session will run. She can keep everyone together or meet with each person on their own in a private breakout room. She puts points of agreement in writing, and documents are signed electronically once each person is comfortable.

Fees

Mediation is $200 per hour, billed in tenth-of-an-hour (6-minute) increments. Zoom sessions cost the same, and the retainer is set case by case.

Clermont FAQs

Can I meet Jessica in person?

No. Sessions for Lake County are held by Zoom only.

My co-parent lives in another county. Does that matter?

Not for a Zoom session. Each of you can join from your own location.

Is Zoom secure enough for something this personal?

Jessica uses password-protected meetings and asks everyone to join from a private space. She goes over privacy steps before the session starts.

Will Jessica write our final paperwork?

She writes up the terms you reach in a written agreement. Because she does not give legal advice, many people have their own attorney review it.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. The first consult is 30 minutes and free, and you can book it online. You can use that time to ask questions and decide whether mediation is a good fit before you commit.

Book a free 30-minute consult, call (813) 449-2500, or email jessica@calminchaos.net.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with weekends by appointment.

Jessica Oliver, LCSW, is a mediator and licensed clinical social worker, not an attorney. Mediation and parenting coordination are not legal advice or representation.
