Your mediator is Jessica Oliver, LCSW (SW18101), a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator (44460 CF) and a Qualified Parenting Coordinator. A Florida LCSW since 2021, she brings more than ten years of social work experience. She holds a BSW from Saint Leo University and an MSW from the University of Southern California, and is an adjunct professor in Cleveland State University's MSW program. She never serves the same family as both mediator and parenting coordinator.
Sessions for Pinellas County, including Seminole, happen by Zoom only. Each parent logs in from wherever they are, so nobody has to drive to an office. Jessica stays neutral and gives neither party legal advice.
Why some Seminole families try mediation first
Mediation lets you settle family matters without arguing them in open court. It is usually more private, and parents can build a schedule around real life, like school calendars, work shifts and weekend plans, instead of leaving every detail to someone else.
Services for Pinellas County families
Family mediation: parenting plans, time-sharing, child support, alimony, and dividing property or debts
Parenting coordination: support for parents who are following a plan that is already in place
Collaborative divorce: Jessica serves as the neutral facilitator, the mental health professional on the team
How a session works
The first step is a free 30-minute consult. Before the session, Jessica sends a secure link and explains confidentiality and the format. Some families stay together the whole time, and others meet with her separately in private breakout rooms. Points of agreement go into writing, and each person signs electronically when they are comfortable.
Fees
The rate is $200 per hour, billed in tenth-of-an-hour (6-minute) increments, and Zoom costs the same. Jessica sets the retainer case by case.

My co-parent lives in another county. Does that matter?
Not for a Zoom session. Each of you can join from your own location.
