Family Mediation in Webster, Florida — Jessica's Home Base
Webster is where Calm in Chaos is based. For families in Webster and nearby rural Sumter County, that means a mediator who knows the area and can meet in person close by. Zoom remains available for anyone who would rather stay home.
Jessica's background: licensed clinical social worker, Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator #44460F, and qualified parenting coordinator. In each session she acts as a neutral, so she does not advocate for one side and does not provide legal advice.
Talking it through instead of fighting it out
Mediation lets you settle family matters without arguing them in open court. In a small community, keeping a separation private matters to many people. Mediation is confidential under Florida law, with limited exceptions Jessica will explain up front.
Ways Jessica works with Webster families
Separation and divorce mediation: schedules for children, support, the family home, vehicles and shared debts
Parenting coordination: structured support for parents applying an existing parenting plan
Collaborative divorce: neutral facilitation alongside each spouse's collaborative lawyer
The process, start to finish
First comes a free 15-minute conversation. Next, Jessica meets with both participants, in person near Webster or over video, and sets a simple agenda. She keeps the discussion focused and fair, checks that each person understands the options, and records any agreements. Final documents are signed electronically.
